Eh. Sharing the source would depend on who he shared the source with if he wanted to. There's always a possibility of the source leaking out one way or another if he decided to share it.

Who knows, maybe w3sp will get his spectator locking feature he's been dying for. icon_wink

Joined: 26. 02. 2006 Posts: 515		Thousands of things...really thousands, if not more! I wouldn't pay that much believe in it yet unless there are real results popping out. The defrag developers have neither really shown up at all in the past 3-4 years nor showed ANY interest in future developement. All they did was letting it go to seed, even though there have been new generations (jamster/pan, nightmare/hk) that the dev developers could have handed over the code instead. To bring up the "we cant trust u!!!1111" argument: Generations pass by, and m00m1n didn't even do anything close to what the later generations did and yet he was given the source. And all out of a sudden, after the whole custom serverbinary is pretty finished, cgg seems to re-appear and say he'll continue. It's good news of course IF it's actually true and IF he's actually gonna code some on df and IF he's gonna contact the community to fix plenty of bugs and IF he decides to share the source with some people to speed up the process.
